Nanocrystalline Ribbons

EMAIL

Material Introduction

Nanocrystalline Ribbons is an iron-based soft magnetic alloy materials with nanocrystalline structures (grain size~10nm). With excellent soft-magnetic properties such as high saturation flux density (B.), high permeability, and low core loss, it is widely used in electrical power, industrial power supply, renewable energy, railway & transportation, consumer electronics, wireless charging, etc.

The products are available as high precision iron-based nanocrystalline ribbon in thickness from 14μm to 26 μm and widths from 2mm to 80 mm, which can be made into various magnetic components including cores, devices, shielding sheets, etc. They can meet the performances of high frequency and low core loss simultaneously, and facilitate the development of electronic equipment towards the trend of high frequency, miniaturization, and lightweight.

Compared With Other Materials

Compared with Fe-based amorphous alloys、Mn-Zn ferrite and Co-based amorphous alloys, the performance of Nanocrystalline in below items:

Magnetic Permeability

Nanocrystalline > Fe-based amorphous alloys、Mn-Zn ferrite

Nanocrystalline ≈ Co-based amorphous alloys

Core Loss

Nanocrystalline < Fe-based amorphous alloys、Mn-Zn ferrite

Nanocrystalline ≈ Co-based amorphous alloys

Saturation magnetic flux density and Temperature

Nanocrystalline has more stable temperature performance. The saturation flux density can keep almost the same property in less than 500°C

Hysteresis Loop

Our Nanocrystalline ribbon permeability can be adjusted in a certain range. The DC-immune property of cores changes with varied permeability.

At present, we can provide customized material solving method for permeability range as below:

Relative permeability: μ=1,500~300,000

Saturated magnetic field: Hm= 30~350A/m
